pressure test gill exaust
 

Whats an easy way to pressure test gill exaust manifolds ? anybody got any ideas.

i have put a gauge on a plastic hose barb 1" hose on one end the other threaded and adapt to the presure gauge. same on the other end but instead of a gauge adapt to a tire stem. then fill to 25psi.

With manifpld off engine, on floor. I've hose clamped a water hose to one side, capped off other side and watched water appear out of faint cracks in the throat.

Gils almost always crack at the same place and you can you usually see the crack lines. They crack right at the top, below the risers, where the wedge dividers are.
