On where you run. In sandy water (havasu), you'd better do it every year!! Nothin like 220 grit sanding your impeller every run!

Not sure for the little cost why you would take the risk and not change em

I always changed mine every spring

As stated it is cheap insurance for what could be a major problem

the whole job should only take less than an hour a side and less than 30 gallons of gas in cost :cool-smiley-011:

Once a year here (which is roughly also every 250 hrs). Lots of sand here.

Every other year, but I only run 30-35 hours/season and no sand.
