Any advice about hydraulic steering

I have a Eliminator Eagle 236XP I would like to go faster but in order to do it safely I need to add exterior rams to the boat. The exhaust is dropped down by "S" pipes and are directly in the way of the typical ram mounting positions. Has anyone had an application like this? Can the rams mount higher or lower than the centerline of the Drive?

I thought about adding ITS but very expensive and lots of work.

I think the swim platforms would have to come off for sure. I think a marine machine system would be right on line with them and any system would hit them when trimming up.

Here's a pic of my Marine Machine system that was on the Pantera. MM is about the highest mounting system.

BTW, I think an ITS is the best alternative. Anything else will be very tight. The only other option is an Imco box with ears for the rams.

The Imco is less than the ITS like 7K instead of 10K. Still much more than a typical add on steering system.

In either application I would have to pull the motor....

Send me more pictures and show me the location of the center of your gimbal versus your exhaust.

We can find you a less expensive set up.

I found IMCO makes a kit that mounts 4.875 from the side of the Gimble Housing. This should fit:

1 SA-20-R $2489.81
1 HK-11 $141.79
Total: $2631.60

Anyone offer discounts???
