496 mag, alternator ,kicking out

at 550-750 rpm alternator does not charge,above that,its ok help ,thanks

Mine began doing the same thing last year on my 2005 496. It progressivly got worse until it didn't charge at all. Replace it. You can get a new one for about 250 or get yours rebulit for about 100 at an alternator shop. I had mine rebuilt, works great now. Diode failure.
