what engine prop combo are you running ? also need to make sure the boat is not water logged....seen it before, if that comes up, find a place where you can weight the boat and trailer, sunbtract the trailer weight and ck against the original weight. also engine down on power ?? good compression etc ?? lots of things to consider..not enough info yet...Rob

same question as ez...
what motor/prop/drive specs? could be over propped...that with low hp/torque would account for the inability to pick up the bow....
i did that a couple times trying props on my 24....

whoops..replied before checking out your link...doing it now...

checked your stats...the replys seem on the money..try merc's prop selector, or bammarine's link...?
Propeller Recommendation(s) (based on merc's prop selector and your data)
Stainless Steel 4 15.250 22.0 RH 48-831910A55 bravo

Stainless Steel 3 14.625 23.0 RH 48-13704A46 mirage

Stainless Steel 4 14.625 23.0 RH 48-857030A46 revolution

fun stuff, huh?
hope this helps..

As others have stated you are over propped. 23" mirage will help you get maybe 400 rpm to 4700. The prop slip calculator puts you at 9% which is incredible for that hull and non-worked prop. Are your speeds gps and it your totally accurate?

I also thought that Baja put a little bit of hook in their hulls to keep them handling better, which would keep your bow down.
A 24" Bravo1 in reality is a 23". Bravo 1's are know to be about 1" less than what they are stamped.
I don't believe that you are going to be gaining much speed when you do find the right prop, but it will get you out of the torque band and be easier on your engine when your running at the top of the horsepower band.

If everything is correct with you #'s, I think a 22" Bravo one will be your best all around cruising prop and worked 23" Mirage+ will be your fastest prop.
