after the sale?

Hey guys wandering what has everyone found to be the best way to do a parts sale transaction and make it safe for the buyer and the seller not to get hosed ? C.O.D. pay pal? 50 doller parts are one thing but 1000 parts are another!

pay-pal, when the money is in your account, send the parts.

Paypal, I am currently buying and involved in a 3K transaction. You have $2,000 protection incase something goes wrong. Like the part never gets shipped or it's not as described.

You're buying the seller as well as the product or item. Check the person out. If you can get references, that's great. At a bare minimum, find out where they work and live and if they're listed. Paypal on your credit card is an avenue that can give you protection- if it's debit from your checking, then not so much.

Paypal BIG DADDY but still dont count on there protection other then both accounts gettin locked down and battle of wits depending on who medeates your claim .. The credit card cos dont really want to get involved either ..You should be able to feel the seller out over the phone ....good luck

I have had very good luck dealing with people from OSO. There will always be the exception. Are you the buyer or seller?

Watch the next guy that buys a full panel of gauges will stiff me now!! Great!

I've used i-escrow (http://www.iescrow.com/) a little pricey, but beats the heck out of getting ripped of or.. dealing w/unknowns...

Ask other OSO members about the seller as a reference.
