496 leaking water pump from pulley

Do I need to replace pump or can It be repaired? Slow drip for now.New Impeller 2 years ago, almost 500 hours. I read in another thread From raylar you can replace and keep the back piece. How do you figure out which pump will line up?
Wheres the best place to buy? Appears to be dripping from shaft coming out of pump. Thanks, JC

I haven't had this happen, so I couldn't say for sure. Maybe you could call local merc tech or try Raylar directly. Good luck.

you can rebuild it, the bearing on the shaft has gone bad, just have to press a new one on, saves you about 300$

Where can I get parts and who does this? I can get it out but rebuilding pumps is beyond my knowledge. Thanks.
