The external dimensions are identical. You might have some l;ittle things to deal with but it should be a very straightforward swap.
Two tips- one, take lots of digital pictures before you start. Two, put fasteners into ziploc bags and label them- or screw them back where they came. It might take a little longer but in reality it might save you hours trying to figure out what went where and why you have extra parts. |

I am going to starting putting the pieces together this year but will not re-power til next year. When I pull the motor out I am going to have a good amount of work to do cleaning the bilge and I also need to change the gimle ring. I blew my rear out last year and when the u-joint failed and the shaft went spinning it put a nice chip in the side of the ring where the shaft bellows sits. I was able to fix with a kit that worked well but when everything is out it will be time to replace. I am sure you will see me begging for info next year when the time comes.
