Two tips- one, take lots of digital pictures before you start. Two, put fasteners into ziploc bags and label them- or screw them back where they came. It might take a little longer but in reality it might save you hours trying to figure out what went where and why you have extra parts.

$10 worth of cheap tupperware from Walmart also works really well so keep things straight. Just don't forget to label the bottom and not the top of the container.

Thanks again guys...

I am going to starting putting the pieces together this year but will not re-power til next year. When I pull the motor out I am going to have a good amount of work to do cleaning the bilge and I also need to change the gimle ring. I blew my rear out last year and when the u-joint failed and the shaft went spinning it put a nice chip in the side of the ring where the shaft bellows sits. I was able to fix with a kit that worked well but when everything is out it will be time to replace.

I am sure you will see me begging for info next year when the time comes.

Have a great season guys...

Brian
