exhaust gaskets
 

hey guys,
I am putting my emi thunder exhaust back on and am in need of the manifold gaskets,i originally had the gaskets from eddie marine,but now need new ones,does anyone use automotive gaskets for a big block on their boats?If so what year do you reference when obtaining them?I dont want to wait for gaskets from eddir marine and pay duties on them and merc gaskets are too expensive,any help would be great.

Just measure your exhaust ports and compare them to the gasket hole size. The bolt pattern is the same on all GM BBC heads.

Take one to your auto parts store. They'll have them.

I like to use the ultra header gaskets from MR Gasket, just match the port size and shape and I also use the orange hight temp exhaust RTV sealer along with as well, Rob

Where do ya think Merc gets them from !!!

Use Fel Pros,,,, or Victors and you will be fine.
