Volvo Penta Synthetic Oil
1 Attachment(s)
Volvo Penta uses a synthetic oil for their gasoline engines. Very good formulation..lots of anti-wear/anti-corrosion additives. Good stuff. A 15w-50.. SJ rating..I forget who asked me to check...anyways here is the answer..

The top part of the 5 liter container of the Volvo oil looks quite similar to a 4 liter Mobil One oil I use for my Jeep, but very different from the Castrol oil container that I use for my Audi. Anyway because of that I though it might be Mobil oil that Volvo uses, but I guess it says more about the manufacturer of the container than of the oil :-) |
Hard to say who formulates it. But it is high in anti-wear and anti-corrosion additives. Another excellent choice.
What is the cost? Anyone know? |
