Any ideas????
Does anyone know the best way to get 10 year old vinyl name stickers off of a boat without damaging the gel?
Is there any kind of remover I could buy or do I just have to use a razor blade and be extremely careful? I am not looking forward to this task at all.:( Thanks, Chuck |
Call Danny Dillon over at Clean it Supply 1-800-998-3295 he might be able to help. He is the Swipes guy if you did not know!

Thanks bro. I will give him a shout.
I just ordered some swipes yesterday. |
3M makes a soft rubber eraser wheel- fits on a drill. Made for this. Easiest method.
|
Are the wheels available locally or do I have to order from 3M?

Getting the stickers off will not be that bad. A heat gun and razor blade to remove the vinyl and then wipe the glue off with acetone. You will definately be able to tell where the stickers were removed though and will have to wetsand and buff it to make it less noticeable.

Sign makers also use a plastic scraper that looks like a razor blade. Will not scratch.
