Blower boost,Merc 600 SCi
New owner wanted to know, can't find it on Merc website. I know it's pretty low,but don't remember.

If it has Smart Craft you can toggle through the pages to find it. Its under manifold pressure, I think. 4 lbs, sticks in my mind, but not sure. We had them in a 38 Fountain. Im sure Dustin Whipple knows. I know when you hit the rev-limiter, a message comes on the smartcraft screen saying it was reducing power. I guess by a boost bypass.

4.5 psi boost.
620 - 635 crankshaft hp and around 820 Nm torque, seems to be what the stock motor delivers. The power peaks at around 5100 - 5200 rpm, so propping to run to the (5350 rpm) limiter doesn't usually produce the best top speed. |
4 lbs. was about all you would see on the gauges at LOTO.

600 sci motor
At w.o.t. 5400 rpm I have seen between 4-5 max on boost guage
