500 EFI searched without clear answer
 

Anyone know what the Mobil 1 oil filter number is for a 2001 500 EFI? Also, boating in 110* temp would it be okay to run straight 50 or 60 weight Valvoline VR1. My manual calls for SAE 40 weight with greater than 50* air temps , but can only find 50 and 60 on the shelves.

I use the NAPA Gold 1060 or the 1060R, less expensive than the mobil 1 filter and better. I use Mobil 1 20/50 v twin and the motors love it.

I use to use the Mobil 1 and an am drawing a blank as to the number......my engine builder/buddy wanted me to switch to the NAPA filter so I now use the 1060 also.

m1-302 I hope, changed oil yesterday and that is what I used...

The Oil You Can Use 50wt In This Temp But When It Cools Down I Would Go Back To 40wt....
