It is a nitrile anti-drainback valve...the filter uses plastic and cardboard parts...

I am quoting someone else on here, can't remember, but "I would not use a fram filter if you paid me and gave me unlimited quantities". There is a reason Chrysler Corp. calls them "orange death". Many engine failures due to Fram filters. They are absolutely junk!

use wix .... 51060R ( W/anti-drainback) 51061R (WO/Anti-drainback) .....
