This thread really disturbed me. I have refrained from posting until now. I cant believe that Comp's rockers are failing. I have used them for nearly 200 hours on my 540 with no issues. However, I did use ARP adjusters. This past winter, I switched over to T&D shaft rockers ( Thanks RMBuilder ). Now those are a work of art. BTW, at 20Hours of run time this year, I went to check the lash, the loosest one only opened up .004" from where I set it.
Anyway, the thing that disturbs me the most.... A few weeks ago, a friend running big power had some issues with Crane Gold rockers. I recommended he gets a set of Comp Pro Magnums.

I wonder is harmonics maybe causing some of these problems?

Good point, if it were harmonics, the cranes should fail as well. Maybe time will tell.

Maybe not? Think of the different metals and different thickness on the metal, the resonance would be diff.Guessing here
