thunderbolt ignition wiring
 

Hello,

I'm going to change my distributor and need a wiring diagram to install ,it's a thunderbolt 4 with a 22a advance module. it has purple and gray wire's. Also do I need to ground anything the set the base timing ,this distributor is around a 1988 module which is new. Thanks Alec

Grey is neg coil ...Purple to Positive coil ...no ground to set base timing ....m

Don't worry about base timing. Bring the motor up around 3000 rpm and set the total advance timing. I have mine set at 37* Some guys only like 34 - 36 . I have the v 24 module and only get 20* advance out of it.
