454 mpi (no power)
 

Have a 454 mpi. Has 140-150 lbs compression all around. Good spark on all 8. Computer shows no codes and no visible problems. Checked the fuel for water and it is clean. Engine idles a little rough, and is off 1500-2000 rpms. Injectors? Is there any way to test these while the motor is under load? Any other suggestions?

take the injectors out and hook them up to a simple test rig with a puel pump and can of fuel and use your scanner to pulse test them. look at both flow and the shape of the fan. its worthwhile to dump some cleaner in the fuel as you do this and them pulse them backwards to clean the screens at the same time.
