Install Triim Tabs ????
 

I would like to install a set of Bennett trim tabs on my 212 Islander. Has anyone installed a set of these and if so, how hard/difficult is it?

I have taken mine off and put them on. Not hard at all. Drill a couple holes some silicone rubber, Zip ties for the interior, connect a few wires and your done. If you perfer not to do it your self I know a good boat rigger in the Chicago Land area, he does execelent neat work.

It will be more time consuming then difficult.

Measure like 3 times before you drill those big holes in the transom;)

There a guy from Bennett that surfs the boatered bulletin board. He's extremely helpful, and will tell you exactly what's required for your boat. He uses the screen-name tabman. I'd look him up. He can also get you some great deals on Bennett tabs. Here's a link:
