re-rigging

I'm currently in the process of a complete re-rigging the engines on my boat, I am to the point of hoses Water/oil/fuel/trim/planes. Should I use Stainless braided or good marine black rubber hose's.

stainless is nice , but imo a pain in the azz..never again..push on hose is the route to go...

Every boat I have ever worked on with SS hose has left me bleeding.

Its like working with fish hooks. I'm with Cig 1972.

What I like about the black is you can see a leak better than the SS and as advised SS is a bleeding pain to work with. I think I will go with you guy's on this, besides I'm not looking for bling on the set-up, just all business.
