Drive leak

Have a slight leak on port drive.
Coming from upper vent plug
Installed new screws and cork washers, still the same.
Anyone use actually o-rings?
What are my options?
Bottle is not getting filled so does not seem like water is getting in, but if fluid leaks out, water can leak in!!!!!

does not sit in water for more then just the day on the lake.

Did you look at he surface where the cork washer mates to? Is there any imperfection, like a burr, causing damage to the old and new cork? How do the threads look in the drive? I guess I would drain the oil just to make sure there is no water in there. It's cheap insurance.
