cruise control

looking for a speed control for my 496,something that maintains mph,any suggestions,I do lots of water sking and wakeboarding,Thanks

i believe master craft or maybe it was mercury use to have a device called "perfect pass" on most ski boats. maybe you could use something like that?

Check out perfectpass.com. My Correct Craft uses this as O.E., but I started using the controls 12 to 15 years ago. The latest Stargazer system uses a GPS reciever. It is not complicated to install and they work very, very well! Best technology that has been developed for waterskiing and marriages. It is about 1500 dollars. Call them and they will help you. They have excellent customer service.
