454mpi upgrade
 
I have twin 454mpi motors 310hp each what is the best way to get a little more power out of these and still keep them reliable. They have about 390 hours and run excellent. I would be happy getting 425-450hp out of them any suggestions.

Sell them and get a pair of 496 HO takeouts.

I agree with Griff. Those motors could probably run another 400 hours as is if properly cared for. IMHO modifying those motors will substantially decrease the operating life as well as decrease their current value. Time to repower! Good luck.
