With no secondary PV, you want about a 10 jet size increase in the secondaries. The PV acts like a jet that opens with a reduction in vacuum. With no PV, you need to increase secondary jetting to compensate.
You need a PV in the primaries but not in the secondaries and the way you have it is fine. If you had a PV in secondaries, it would be open anyway as soon as you were into the secondaries anyway. You're just doing the same thing with more jet and no PV. |
Ok, I was fouling plugs so I am jetting down to 70's in the primary and 80' in the secondary. I am going to run the boat in the morning and take a plug reading.
I know this is the wrong time of year to jet a carb especially in Houston:angry-smiley-038:I'll deal with rejetting in the fall. |
You should be able to get the specs from their website:

I am getting some crazy readings on the plugs. 1 and 3 are a little lean 5 and 7 are a little darker than they should be.
2 and 4 are perfect. 6 is lite and 8 is OK. could it be an air distribution problem with the intake? ZZ502/502 intake. |
