Raylar 496 upgrade

What's the Raylar kit price to upgrade 496's?
The website says call... that usually means there is some poetic license in the equation.
So, of those of you who did it, what was the final cost per engine?
Thanks

Inquiring minds want to know.

Also, any driveability issues and how is fuel consumption?

Raylar 08-23-2008 03:12 PM

The Price is Right

Raylar BCK103 kits complete are currently priced at $7130 plus UPS shipping and handling. Just so inquiring minds don't have to guess or make a toll free phone call!! We currently have 19 kits boxed and ready to ship, so call and keep those orders coming!

Best Regards,
Ray @ Raylar

May I ask how many you have sold?

Boatally Insane 08-23-2008 08:51 PM

Bob at Full Throttle Marine has done a couple I think....

Here is a link to an article he's written about it....

I'd love to see what this kit would pull on the dyno without the computer remap and stock 5000 rpm rev limit. Not everybody wants to spin their motor at 5400 rpm.....my .02.
Thanx,

Verbi69:

Many OSO'ers have independantly dyno'd the Raylar BCK103 kit on a stock 496HO with stock program and stock exhaust. It will make between 521 and 530HP every time like clockwork.

As for how many we have sold, last serial number puts us in the 500 range. Considering there are still about 25,000 or so 496's out there without the kit, we still have a long way to Go!

Best Regards,
Ray @ Raylar
