A friend had several of the comp rockers break. Comp cams replaced the set . Maybe a bad batch?

Zinc additive ... even if you run hyd rollers ... heard storys of mechanical fuel pump push rod lobe failures ... cam companys had some bad core stock.

I like to run oil with alot of zinc in it such as Valvoline VR1

If you're buying Morels make sure they're the new one- they have a svere-duty version now available. Bob Madara (rmbuilder) or Dean Gellner (mrhorsepower1) can hook you up.

On oils, you aren't going to do much better than Mobil 1 V-twin. The EPA has regulated all the bad-for-you but good-for-the-engine out of automotive oils, but they haven't hit the specialty oils- yet.
