Wonder if the zink content is that much higher than M1?
I think the ZDDDP is about the same but it has a heavier handed dose of friction modifiers..ie moly.

Why do they make things so confusing? What was wrong with the old product line? Blah...

I guess I'll have to decide between the straight synthetic 20w50 or the dominator 15w50. The first number is the low temp viscosity, right?

I've used it in my Duramax with a dual remote filter and consumption was low which is a good thing!
Presently have Delo400 in my Powerstroke and no complaints either.
For the performance boat engines I would want a higher viscosity number such as 15w50 - 20w50

Oh, yea..20W-50 M-1 V-Twin 1600 ppm Zn and Ph. If you can spring for it a remarkable product.

I think for weekend warriors the Amsoil 20W-50 is fine!

Use the Dominator 15w-50. Teague has been using it for the last year and has not had any internal wear to his racing engines. Sometimes things just need to be updated and slightly improved. Just one of those things. I'm going to be switching to the new 15w-50 as soon as my 20w-50 Series 2000 is used up.
