All will get the job done well.

When I run out I will try Amsoil's product out.

I use red StaBIl and it works extremely well.

We stock both Mercury Marine branded fuel stabilizer and Sta-Bil red. California fuel is 10% ethonal so red is sufficient, green is called for when ethonal levels exceed 10%. We have never had a problem with a boat that was properly treated before storage. We actually recommend treating the fuel every time you fill up, that way whatever is left in your tank when you put it away is already taken care of. It will not harm anything, in fact it helps keep the engine's fuel system cleaner. It is very inexpensive so there is really no reason not to. Todays fuels start to break down in as little as 2 weeks so even during the season fuel has a chance to start causing problems.

I`ve always used red Stabil --- didn`t know there was a green Stabil ...
I use Sea Foam as a fuel system cleaner additive.

I never had a problem with stabil exept for staining nice white gel coat yellow! I use sea foam.

Red Stabil is the only way I can keep everything running around this place. ie, chainsaws, weedeater, leafblower, logsplitter, mowers gas and diesel, generators gas and diesel, snowblower, gas waterpump, use it all year in the small engines. Doug
