Bigger Oil Cooler for 502MPI????
 

This isn't as easy as it sounds....placement of the larger cooler on the bellhousing location would pre-heat the fuel cooler and lessen or ruin its effectiveness which is dearly needed on these mpi motors in southern climates. The stock oil cooler location on the front of the motor allows for no diameter increase and maybe a 2" length increase...I don't think this is enough for 500hp. Another possibility is moving the fuel cooler to the lower starboard side of the motor, 1st inline for cool seapump water...has this been done? Any help here is much appreciated. Take Care, Dave
