When ya ship across the pond due ya have to have the boat free of it's fluids....Gas oil etc...

Nope! None of the boats we have shipped from the states to Sweden has been drained and never had any complaints. :)

That includes both RORO and container shipments.

When I shipped a car to Italy (and 1 to Guam) all you had to do was have the fuel below 1/4 tank (fuel taxes i think) and have all personal belongings out of the vehicle. Conduct a GOOD pre-ship inspection with the shipper at the drop off point, cause they will mishandle the vehicle to cause some amount of damage. Hopefully minor. Take pictures and document every spot on the vehicle. Good luck, both times my cars got hurt when they were shipped in conex boxes.

Depends where you are shipping to.

I know if you are sending to Australia, they are big on quarantine so needs to be water blasted to ensure no bugs on the hull. Not much of an issue with trailer boats. Also need certificate of country of origin (where the boat was built) to determine customs duty.

Probably good to check with the country you are sending to. Most of the customs brokers on the other end will know this stuff backwards.

Talked to the shipping today, they told me to empty the fuel takes and motor.......I hate to see this thing go but it is going to race in a classic class in new zealand......I hope he loves it as much as i due....
