water in block

Hey guys,
I was looking for some opinions on leaving water in my engine,i have a new 509ci that i pulled back out this winter for some cam work and the block/engine is still full of water from the last ride, engine is sitting in my shop which never dropped below 70 so it will not freeze,no real way to put coolant in it ,but was told that i should leave the water in it,instead of nothing because the air is what will make it rust inside, what should i do???????????????????

It should be fine as long as it won't freeze but if you want to add antifreeze, take the thermostat out, disconnect the exhaust water line, get a bucket of anti freeze hook up a hose to the engine from a bildge pump or other type of pump and pump it untill the antifreeze comes out the exhaust hose.

If freezing is not an issue, then leave the water in it.

Shouldn't be a problem, I have fresh lake water in my for 5 months a year for the past 11 years during our boating season.

or just dump some anti freeze in from the top...
