Need cross reference number for wix or napa oil filter merc# 88126k01 anyone have it?

what is it for?

Napa filters for the 500's are 1060/1061 depending on whether you want the anti-drain back valves in the filter.

If you add a 5 to the napa # it will equal a wix #. Tha napa gold filter is made by wix. Hope this helps.

Personlly I have heard of Wix problems lately. I am running M-1.

Note: Purolator Pure One PL36461 has a silicone anti-drain back to keep oil in the filter for those mounted upside down.

M-1 makes oil filters with synthetic cellulose materials; a prelubed seal and a very high quality bypass system (where it applies).

I use them exclusevely now.
