-AN Flare tool

Anyone sell these with the 37* flare w/o have to go Snap-On or Mac Tools? Only have 4 ends to flare, so........

OR, has anyone had luck with no leaks just using the standard automotive 45* flare? I'm using 3/8" SS tubing and Aeroquip fittings.

Go to the local airport and have an aircraft mechanic (A&P) flare the things for you. The AN stuff is standard on aircraft.

Actually, in one of the hangers as a machinist working with the Areo and Nuclear students on their projects. Wanna know some secrets on the Mach 6 wind tunnel? ;) :D :D

You've probably got the AN flare tool right there in a toolbox. I got very familiar with that tool whila I owned a 1949 Ryan Navion. Hydraulic landing gear retraction and flaps, engine-driven one-cylinder hydraulic pump, panel-mounted hydraulic control valves. Yeah, I can flare tubing.
