Anthony,
There are two different ones, but the difference is that one uses a link bar to hold the two lifters and keep them from rotating, the other uses the stock GM "dog bone" You can use the link bar type in the late model blocks, but not vice versa. Either way, that would not explain the noise on start up. It sounds like the oil is draining out of the oil galleys when the engine is sitting (which is somewhat normal) or for some reason oil pressure is taking a while to build up when you first start them. Next time you start up after sitting a while, watch the oil pressure gauges. The lifter noise really should disappear as soon as oil pressure is up to normal, usually within a few seconds of startup.

We hope to see 300hrs with out a tear down of any kind.

As we still leak down 9% cold.

We have had great luck with Crane lifters on these high rpm big power hydraulic applications!

I have to ask would you be more specific on what (quite high spring pressure) is? How big is the cam and is it also a crane or special grind. Your way over my HP goals so more curious on ramps than actual number for the cam. Impressive builds for sure. :ernaehrung004:
