Are the fuel injectors on a 1998-454 MPI the same as a 1999- 502 MPI?. If not can they be reworker?. And by who.

Take a look at BAM's website here: http://www.mercruiserparts.com/selec....asp?type_id=8

and see if the injectors have the same part #.

As far as modifying an injector for more/less flow rate, no. You change injectors for others of different flow rates. ASM (Arizona Speed and Marine) , BAM, Tyler Crockett, and many others (members and companies) can tell you what other injectors are available that are same type of injector.

I have a set or two laying around for a 454 (385) motor. It is my remembrance they are the same part number as the 502 injectors the change in fuel delivery is made at the regulator to compensate for cubic inches.........I think.
