575sci warning buzzer after blower rebuild?

My starboard blower seized in October (rear bearing failure after just 25 hrs of service...Grrrr!!!). I restarted it on the water with the belt melted off to check if it would start, and it did..BUT the warning buzzer was beeping constantly. Fast forward a month and the blower has been repaired (thanks Mooneyham in Upland Ca.). I just got it back on and just turning the key on, it does it 2 beebs to check, pauses for a second and starts beeping again (without running and the port motor just does the 2 beebs). Start it up, it runs pig rich and it continues to beep. Now, I accidently pinched the water pressure line at the back below th chiller and repaired the line . Also it is leaking fuel at the rear between the superchiller and intake and I have to pull back apart to check/fix that. It has oil pressure on the gauge, it is obviously too cold to set off an overtemp warning, and drive oil is up to the line. What else could it be? thanks Mike

Sounds like you may have multiple issues. You should get a constant beep with the key on and not running. Its the low oil pressure alarm. You may have a sensor wire groundng out. I had a a splice in the drive alrm sender come apart and the wire was hitting the intak and setting the alarm off. With having had stuff apart, this type of thing could have easily happened.

I spoke to a boat mechanic today and he said that it is probably going into guardian mode. So I will check for the cause of the fuel leak and check with a scanner..

It sound like a sensor is un pluged. Also on the 575 they run a external hose to the map sensor and they will run rich if the hose is left off and a real comon on is the air temp sensor in the flame arrester being left un pluged sounding the horn. Oil psi with the engine not running wont set of the alarm.281-326-4800 if I can help we work on alot of thes engines.

I believe the ONLY thing it can be with motor NOT running and you get a beeping w/ ignition on = drive oil bottle.
Even though bottle is full, likely the float or sensor in bottle is bad - or possibly the connection is loose or corroded.

Might be sensor that plugs into air filter too. . . . . maybe.

The MAP vac and electrical are connected, as well as the TPS (throttle position), IAT (air temp at air filter), both IAC valves (idle air control), CTS (coolant temp)- and both pairs of injectors. I am going to check codes and keep looking.

That would be the best way to do with a scan tool and take all the guess work out of it. Keep us posted

Does this system check for fuel pressure before shutting off the warning beeper ?
When I turn my key on, the fuel pump runs until it builds pressure then shuts off just before the two "test beeps" stop.
You have got a fuel issue making it super-rich ( fuel leaking between intake and chiller should not be ) I don't know if it is possible to get enough fuel to that bearing to wash it down and cause the failure ???

These are my thoughts/questions. I enjoy learning from those with more knowledge.

Acually it has Aeromtive fuel pumps mounted on the firewall so even after the motors start it doesn't show full fuel pressure for a few seconds on the gauges. Also I ran the motor for a few seconds with the flame arresstor off and the injector patterns were okay (none stuck open). I am going to get my hannds on a scanner and recheck. Does anybody know if the $39.00 Rinda Codemate can pull codes AND reset the computer off of Guardian mode?
