boat will not start!
 
:(i have a 2000 25" baja ol with a 502mpi. it will not start but it will trun over. the fule pump will not prime up and the gages will also not come on. all the accories work trim, trim tabs blower, nav lights and gage lights,etc. i was loading it on the traler today (yes in shorts, t-shirt and 77 dgrees partly cloudy got to love louisana) and i was in and out of gear then it just died and would not crank up!

Check the egnition on the engine,,what kind do you have ????

Sounds like your not getting power to the ecm. I think there is a 15 amp fuse for this, if the ecm does not have power the fuel pump will not prime. This is seperate from the cranking system.

And it's a whopping 10 degree's here so don't rub it in.

You might want to look at the kill switch.

Like already said ck the kill switch first and wiggle the key switch to make sure you dont have a bad one. Then open the hatch up and ck the red resetable breaker in the engine electronics box. last I would check the harness plug at the engine and finally the fuse at the starter. If that fuse goes bad you will lose all the items you have just described. Use a test light and see if you have voltage at the starter lug and at the top side of the fuse.

thisnk for the help! it was the kill switch the top part witch pushes the button was cracked and wouldnt push it in all the way.
