Can someone tell me what the I.D is of AN-16 stainless braid hose??

a nominal 1 inch but for calculating flow rates use .875 effective inside id.

a - number is generally considered to equal a 1/16 so - 16 is 16 sixteenths or an inch. the truth is that they run a bit small .
