[QUOTE=598Boat;2775250] I have since switched to Jesel. They are the best, but costly. The sportsman aren't good though so it all or nothing with them. QUOTE]

What's no good about the Jesel Sportsman Series? I am in the middle of a rebuild and was planning on using this system. Building 600ci with Dart pro one heads.

not saying what to do but scorpion does in fact make the summit rockers and they are 100% made in us. i bought some unmarked scorpions that i was unsure of and i talked to their tech guy for like 45 minutes, super nice people over there and if you research them some you will find that they are a very good company. not sure about summit versions but scorpions are waranteed for life. i am in the same boat as far as building on a budget so i know where you are coming from on this one.

I have had Scorpion Roller rockers on my engines for the last 9 years. (Me and the prior owner) I have ran the crap out of them and never had a failure. I have broken 3 ARP rocker studs on the exhaust side during that time, and still put the same Scorpion rocker back on. I was hesitant to put new scorpions on my new engines cause of all the chat on this site. Until I did a search and found this.

I have had good luck with them and will continue to use them.

I have been running Scorpion rockers in my big block Fords (drag racing) for the last 6 years without a single failure.

Not only have they held up well, they show no discernable wear of any kind. This is in a 900 HP application with a 7700 rpm rev limit.

Additionally, I noticed that the HP500's in my Stinger both have Scorpions as well, and to me that's great news.

This is one of those cases where you CAN overbuild if you want to, but if you're confident in the lower price product, why not use it?
