Livorsi Mechanical Indicator Adjustment
 

I would like to adjust my trim indicators on my boat and don't see any way to adjust them. Do you just loosen the 2 stainless steel bands and reposition the spring loaded sending unit on the trim ram?

If you don't have any adjustment on the head unit, then yes, that is the only way...

There will be some slight adjustment available in the threaded ends of the cables also.

If you don't have the springs in your indicator panel, get them. They elimate any slack in the cable. I couldn't ever seem to get mine adjusted right until I put the springs in.

I haven't checked the head unit to see if there is any way to make adjustments ,as the underside of the dash is enclosed and I have to figure out how to get the panel out.
