cracked vinyl
 

I have the vinyl cracking on the rear edge of my engine hatch. I can push in with my finger and it will crack. This is just on the edge. The rest is good. Is there something that I can use to restore the softness or is it too late. Even when I spay it with something ,being the location it just runs off the edge. Thanks for any help.

I would say its probably too late, but you could try some of the cream type Meguiar's leather/vinyl conditioners.

Thats what I was thinking. Did not know if some miracle stuff was out there. I guess it is time to build that lightweight hatch I have been wanting. One I have is a beast.
