29 Scarab, It's doin pretty good. Been having more than average drive failures, we had to do some homework. Come to find out the extension box removed the rubber coupler on the back of the motor and that combined with 700+ ftlbs of torque and 6000+ or - lbs of boat was killing drives. Took the box off, and had my prop guy do a little work and actually picked up 3mph and no more drive failure. We love it, Katie is 5 months pregnant so I'll have a new deck hand soon! How are ya'll doin?
Plane Silly thanks for the info thats what I needed.

Whipple recommends Mobil 1 15-50 and change it every 50 hours.

Dustin told me to use Castrol synthetic 5w 50 I guess as long as ya change it often.I get around 50 hours a summer, when I drain it in the winter its still clear, most say theres turns color, maybe from the heat running hard.

Hey 22!!

Sorry to hear about the drive failures. Have you done anymore mods to the engine? I can't beleive you were having that many problems with the EXT. box on. I thought for sure after research it would have helped the boat. Anyway, congrats on the new deck hand!! Tell Katie I said hi for me.
