Identifying a 454/502 efi intake

I wantto identify a 454/502 efi intake manifold, it is cast with the # 805233C. It has the fuel rail with the fuel line attaching in the middle rather than the end of the log and is supposedly from a 2000 454 mag. The size of the intake ports is 1.4 x 1.9 inches and they are very rectangular, and this seems small to me more like for an oval port head. I thot I have seen these manifolds with intake ports aproximately 1.5 x 2.2 inches closer matching a rectangular port head. Is the difference because one was a pre 1999, the other post 1999 or are there other variations ? Mercruiser lists only the following two part numbers for the efi mpi manifolds.

Before 1999 For 7.4Lx mpi,454 mag mpi, 502 mag mpi
805233A6 (supercedes 805233A2) with 805225A1 injectors

1999 and up 454 mag mpi, 502mag mpi, 8.2L mpi and 454 horizon
861300A2 with 861260T injectors

If I pull one of the injectors will it have a part # on it, how to identify otherwise which one it is?

Perhaps I need to rephrase the question.

Does Merc make 2 different efi intake manifolds for 454/502's a small port 1.4" x 1.9" and a large port 1.5" x 2.2" ??

Someone must know ?

Thanks

Go to mercruiserparts.com and compare your part number to the 502 and 454. If they have the same part number for the intake, you have your answer.

Good luck,
