intake and exhauset valves ?????

I am looking at a reman engine. It has Ferrea stainless valves and I want to kno if this is OK. I know wveryone recommends Iconnel.

Ferrea has 5000 series, 6000 series and Super Alloy series valves.

The 5000 & 6000 are SS. The Super Alloy are the equivalent of inconnel.

The SS valves should be fine unless you are buiding something with more than 500 hp or supercharging. I have a friend that uses SS valves in his 650hp+ NA engines and has never had a problem.
