The boat was actually the fastest in the stock 600sci configuration with a Hering 26 pitch, 5 blade Bravo style prop, at 83.8 mph. This was bouncing off the rev limiter.
The reason I choose to not use this prop was because of the extremely low slip percentage of 5.5%. That and it would overshoot my target RPM of 5800. I was worried that 750+ horsepower thru Bravo XR gears (IMCO SC outdrive), along with the low slip numbers, would break my drive.
The 90.4 speed was done with a Hering 27 pitch at 5600 which is aproxomately 5% slip. I am going to take the 1.5 inch spacer out of my drive and see if I can get the slip number up, along with reducing the chine walk that starts at about 88mph.

Good Job!
CB-BLR very nice results! Looks like Dustin "DustoCharger" as I call him! has the great way to get a 600sci up to that 700HP plus range! Nothing like a little more boost!
Keep an eye on your valve train as that's probably going to be the system that will need careful scheduled maintenance.
Best Regards,
Ray @ Raylar
