Apply penatrating oil. Use a center punch at the appropriate angle to strike and start the tap out. Use an electric engraver to vibrate it the rest of the way out. If this doesn't work, the safe route is the machine shop.

That might do the trick, or you can try and center punch it, then use a left handed drill bit on it..

This is a def fix, will work.. :) Weld a bolt to the top of the tap..

Ditto. Did it all the time when I worked in a shop.

Thanks guys. I don't have a welder so I will take it to a machine shop tomorrow. It is good to know that I shouldn't have to just pitch them out.
