600sc INFO

Can anyone give me some insight on the 600sc's that Mercury had a couple of years ago. I'm talking about the Fuel ingected ones with the Whipples. They did not stick around long, then Mercury went to the 700's.

Mercury still makes the 600sci... the fuel injected one, with the whipple:

They also make a 662, and 700 using this same supercharger.

I love mine. It is the most de-tuned motor Mercury makes.

Mercury limits boost in order to make only 600hp.
It is very inexpensive to get 750 hp out of it with a few bolt on Whipple upgrades.
With a cam change, you can get a reliable and safe 825 hp from this platform.
