valves for hp 500 efi 2002

doing top end, wondering what type of valves to replace stock with. Is it true efi motors should use a specific valve compaired to carb motors.

A lot of guys on here like Isky Tool Room valve springs. I'm having my springs done next week and am leaning toward Comp Honeycomb springs. I've heard they are great and the mechanic doing the work has had good outcomes with them. The carbed models you speak of are probably the HP500 models and they used the "old" Comp springs. As I understand it the 500 EFI engines use an upgraded Comp spring. There are a lot of threads about this subject, do a search.

You shouldn't need to replace the valves unless there is problem. Should just need a valve grind job.

BTW, the valve part numbers from carbed and efi 500's are the same.
