bravo one bellows

Hello,
I have a 98 bravo one, the boat never stays in the water. What is the average time that the bellows should be replaced, they still look in good shape. I was told that they should be replaced every couple of years, does that seem right.

I did mine the first time last year and my boats a 97 my other boat that I sold was a 98 and still has the original bellows. Both boats were rack stored all there life. I would say if you don't have a boat that sits in the water every season, changing them every couple years is a waste of time and money. Just do your drive service every year and you will know if you got a problem. But if yours still have the original u-joint bellows and shift cable bellows it wouldn't hurt to do them now.
