Black Aluminum Phlaform, HOT??

Anyone have a black aluminum platform that coluld tell me if the top gets hot to touch or walk on?

Thanks!

I'm guessing you are talking about a swim platform ? I have a dark purple one and it never gets hot unlike the carpet in the boat. :ernaehrung004:

LOL, I guess it's all about where ya boat. Out here ( on the Colorado), any black metal would guarantee a 3rd degree burn in the summer.

Dark purple with black rubber traction strips on top...never a problem. I'm here in the midwest and it does get pretty warm too.

I had a boat with a black platform and it wasn't bad. It was low to the water and got splashed alot. THe black on the deck however would melt your skin off.

My swim platform is purple as well with clear non skid. Its never caused any issues because it was too hot.

My old boat with black and black anti-skid tape was fine

Thanks for the help everyone! Black will look the best with my setup I just wanted to be sure it would not burn you when your holding or walking on it.

Thanks
