actually check out the fiberglass section and look for a thread by Marine Clean. There in their somewhere and they have lots of info on detailing faded gel. Those u-19's and pretty cool, post pics if you can. What power? Shame they quit making that boat.

It has a 5.7 gi Volvo penta with a SX out drive single prop. This is really fun to drive and is a head turner. I really like this boat the only thing is that it is not a comun boat. I live in orlando for 6 years and still i havent seen one off them. I tried to post a picture and i could not do it will try later. Thanks for the advice Miguel.

My first boat back in 88 was a 85 4winns lib. and I had as well as my Dad who had a lib. as well used the 303. It looks and goes on like armorall. Just mist it on, let it sit for a little bit and wipe it off. It may leave a wet look but big deal. This can be used like a spray polish. It works very well and looks great with little effort. It was used on travel trailers as many other things also. Interior etc. Try it. Rubing and waxing frquently works also as long as you don't wear the gel thin. Try the 303. You'll like it with immediate results.

I hope this works for you. If you remember be sure and let me know the results. I think you'll be amazed and won't be burning through get either. It's not just 4 winns with the problem it is many. Seems like now a days there is several boats with a lot of custom paint jobs and you don't see the problems as much with the paint / emron

Does anybody know of a U-17, U-19 or Donzi 18 classic for sale?

303 is amazing but if you have quite of bit of white stuff your going to have to buff it out. West marine has gel coat restore its 3M. You need an electric buffer. I did it once on my crownline that sat out for a year. Its came back like new. One coat of the restorer mind you the whole boat needed it and it took me 8 hours. I then waxed afterwards
